Dr. Aqsa Chaudhry
Dr. Aqsa Chaudhry holds a Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE) from Jinnah Sindh Medical University and serves as a Lecturer at the Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences, Karachi. She has extensive teaching experience in undergraduate dental sciences, including anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology, and community dentistry, delivered through both online and face-to-face formats. Dr. Chaudhry has actively contributed to curriculum development, including revision of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) curriculum and designing assessment blueprints and tables of specification for multiple dental subjects. She has led workshops on high-quality assessment item writing and participated in MCQ review retreats, refining over 700 examination questions across medical and dental disciplines. Her roles in various academic committees support continuous improvement in dental education and e-learning initiatives. Additionally, she has organized community outreach programs promoting oral health awareness. Dr. Chaudhry’s strong background in health professions education, curriculum design, assessment, and student-centered teaching approaches makes her a valuable Tutor for the PGDip in Medical Education, where she guides students in effective educational practices within health professions.
