Prof Dr John N. Giannios
Prof. Dr. John N. Giannios is a distinguished expert in genomic and translational medicine, boasting an impressive array of academic achievements and professional accolades. He holds a Professional Doctorate in Translational Cancer Medicine from MDX, UK, and has earned postgraduate qualifications with distinctions in Translational Medicine from the Medical School, UOE, UK.
His academic journey also includes an MSc in Translational Medicine, a Postgraduate Diploma in Genomic Medicine & Healthcare from USW, UK, and numerous certifications in forensic medicine, diet and nutrition, and English.
Prof. Giannios’s extensive educational background is complemented by his role as an Honorary Professor of Medicine and Doctor of Medicine at VMU, EU, and his leadership as the Founder and President of both the Hellenic and International Society of Molecular & Genomic Medicine and Research and the International Association of Personalised Perioperative Medicine & Laser, Robotic and Genomic-Nanosurgery in the EU.
Prof. Dr. Giannios is a full member of several prestigious societies, including the British Society of Genetic Medicine, the Clinical Genetics Society in the UK, and the National Society of Genetic Counselling in the USA. His contributions to the field are recognised globally, with more than one hundred world-class medical awards for his innovative approaches in precision and personalised medicine, particularly in oncology, cardiology, psychiatry, neurology, and immunology. He has presented over 1000 lectures and posters at international and national medical conferences and is a prolific author and editor in leading medical journals.
Prof. Giannios has completed extensive postgraduate research in cancer nanomedicine and has been a faculty member of the Global Consortium for Genomic Education and UKIGMA, UK. His dedication to advancing medical knowledge is further evidenced by his role as Head of the Translational Medicine Assembly of the American Society of Biomedicine and his involvement in numerous non-profit public health projects in Asia and Africa.
In 2019, he was recognised as one of “The Top 25 Voices in Precision Medicine” globally by BIS Research (USA) and Insight Monk.
