Biography

Elaine Williams RMN, BSc, PGCert, PGDip, MSc, INP

Elaine Williams is a Tutor on the PGDip in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Medicine at the University of South Wales. She holds an MSc and Postgraduate Diploma in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Medicine, both awarded with Distinction from the University of South Wales, and is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Northampton, researching the relationship between botulinum toxin type A, mood, and the perimenopausal experience using qualitative methodology. Elaine is an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber and Advanced Aesthetic Nurse, and is the Founder and Clinical Director of a CQC-registered medical aesthetics clinic in Berkshire. She has worked in medical aesthetics since 2008 and is Co-Founder and Director of a national mentorship organisation supporting aesthetic practitioners through clinical education and professional development. Her research has been presented internationally, including at the Aesthetic and Anti-Ageing Medicine World Conference in Monaco, and her work has been published in the Aesthetics Journal. She serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing and the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, and acts as a peer reviewer for both publications. This combination of clinical leadership, prescribing expertise, and active research underpins her contribution to the programme.
