Dr Sumanjit Gill is a Consultant Physician specialising in Stroke and Geriatric Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital and an Honorary Consultant at UCLH. She brings extensive academic and clinical expertise to her role as Tutor on the Care of the Older Person MSc. Dr Gill is a Principal Teaching Fellow at UCL and holds an MA in Clinical Education, with longstanding involvement in curriculum development, assessment design, and postgraduate supervision. Her work has included leading modules on geriatric medicine, developing stroke research teaching for master’s students, and mentoring trainees in academic geriatrics. As Co-Director of the Stroke Medicine MSc at UCL, she has overseen interdisciplinary teaching across clinical and academic domains, helping shape high-quality education tailored to complex older populations. Her clinical leadership and dedication to educational innovation make her uniquely suited to guide students preparing for advanced roles in the care of older adults.
