• Consultant Respiratory Physician with sub-specialty expertise in Interventional Pulmonology, Interstitial Lung Disease and Lung Cancer.
• Post graduate training in London where he did his research and was awarded a - - PhD in Respiratory Medicine.
• Appointed as a Consultant Respiratory Physician and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Bristol Royal Infirmary for 20 years.
• He sat up several services including the Adult CF Centre, the Pan-South Bristol COPD Service, The Bronchoscopic Volume Reduction Therapies for Emphysema using endo- bronchial valves and coils.
• Published textbooks, text-book chapters and original research on COPD, Cystic Fibrosis, Tuberculosis, and Asbestos-related Disease.
