Dr Ahmed M Waheed Eldin Mohamed Abdalla, MBBCh, MSc Diabetes, PGDip Internal Medicine, ICRT (Harvard Medical School), PD Family Medicine, and PGDip Hospital Managemen

Dr Ahmed M Waheed Eldin Mohamed Abdalla is an experienced diabetologist and postgraduate tutor with over 20 years of clinical experience and more than six years of postgraduate teaching experience. Currently serving as a Diabetologist in the Non-Communicable Disease Unit at the Ministry of Health in Oman, Dr Abdalla brings specialist expertise in diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and obesity management. Since 2019, he has delivered case-based online postgraduate teaching for the PGDip and MSc in Diabetes, supporting clinicians in developing clinical reasoning, critical appraisal, and evidence-based decision-making. In his academic role, he provides structured formative feedback and has supervised 34 MSc dissertations. Dr Abdalla holds an MSc in Diabetes from the University of Glamorgan, a PGDip in Internal Medicine, a PGDip in Diabetes from Cardiff University, and clinical research training from Harvard Medical School. His strong combination of active clinical practice and research supervision provides postgraduate students with relevant, contemporary guidance.
