Men’s Health Postgraduate Programme
This programme doesn’t exist yet — and whether it comes to life depends on you. We’re currently researching demand, and the interest registered on this page is what we’ll use to decide whether to build it.
Register on the right to tell us how you’d like to be involved: as a student ready to study it, a tutor keen to lead it, or a contributor to help write its content. Whichever you choose, we’ll be in touch either way.
Men’s health is receiving increased attention across healthcare, research, and public policy. England’s first Men’s Health Strategy sets out a 10-year vision to improve the health and wellbeing of men and boys, including improving access to healthcare, supporting healthier behaviours, and addressing specific health challenges and inequalities. The strategy also identifies gaps in evidence around healthcare training needs and the potential benefits of further training for healthcare professionals in men’s health (Department of Health and Social Care, 2025).
Learna is exploring the development of postgraduate education in Men’s Health and is inviting healthcare professionals, experienced practitioners, and others with expertise or interest in the field to help shape what this could become.
As part of our research and development, we are considering areas including:
- Sexual, reproductive, and hormonal health
- Male cancers and urological health
- Cardiometabolic health and chronic disease prevention
- Men’s mental health, behaviour, and healthcare engagement
- Wider approaches to prevention and improving men’s health
- Leadership, mentoring, and the future development of men’s health services
These areas are still being explored and do not represent a confirmed curriculum or programme structure.
We’re keen to hear from:
Healthcare professionals who may be interested in studying a future Men’s Health course
Experienced practitioners who may be interested in contributing as tutors or educators
Those interested in helping to shape future postgraduate education in Men’s Health
Whichever applies to you, your input can help inform what we develop next. Register your interest to stay involved in the research and development process, share your views on what future Men’s Health education should include, and receive updates as our plans progress.
