Postgraduate Certificate in Men's Health
Men’s health can be considered across physical and mental health, health behaviours, access to healthcare, and the wider social and environmental factors that influence health. In England, men live on average nearly four years fewer than women, while the first Men’s Health Strategy for England sets out a 10-year vision to improve the health and wellbeing of men and boys and reduce health inequalities (Department of Health and Social Care, 2025).
Learna is developing a PGCert in Men’s Health for healthcare professionals interested in building their knowledge of this evolving area at postgraduate level. This proposed online Men’s Health course is expected to explore areas including sexual, reproductive and hormonal health, male cancers and urological conditions, cardiometabolic health, mental health, disease prevention, and approaches to healthcare engagement.
The proposed Postgraduate Certificate in Men’s Health is being developed as an introduction to the contemporary evidence, priorities, and challenges that shape men’s health across different healthcare settings.
We’re keen to hear from:
- Healthcare professionals interested in studying the PGCert in Men’s Health
- Experienced practitioners interested in contributing as tutors
- Those interested in helping to shape the programme as it develops
Whether you are interested in studying the PGCert, tutoring, or contributing to its development, your input can help inform the final shape of the programme. Register your interest to stay involved as it develops and receive updates ahead of the proposed September 2027 intake.
