Indu Asanka Jayawardane

Indu Asanka Jayawardane has worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist for the past 15 years, with special interest in maternal and fetal medicine, medical education, minimal access surgery, pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
He is a Senior Lecturer and an academic mentor for both undergraduate and post graduate medical, nursing and allied health students. Dr Jayawardane's research interests include hyperglycaemia in pregnancy, preeclampsia and placental disorders, obstetric cholestasis, fetal monitoring, labour care, severe maternal morbidity and patient experience of healthcare delivery.
