George Nesr, MB BCh, MSc (Internal Medicine), MRes (Clinical Research), MD Res, MRCP (UK), FRCPath

George Nesr is a Consultant Haematologist (Locum) at BHR University Hospitals Trust with extensive clinical and academic expertise across laboratory and clinical haematology. He completed his MB BCh and MSc in Internal Medicine at Ain Shams University before earning an MRes in Clinical Research and an MD (Res) in Medicine from Imperial College London, where his thesis analysed data from the UK National Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML) Registry. His background includes specialist care in CML, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and multiple myeloma, as well as serving as a sub-investigator on clinical trials. An active researcher and Review Editor for Frontiers in Haematology, he has authored numerous publications in journals such as Leukemia & Lymphoma and the British Journal of Haematology. In his role as a Tutor on the PGDip in Haematology and MSc in Haematology courses, he draws on extensive teaching experience with medical undergraduates, trainees, and specialist nurses to facilitate online learning and guide postgraduate students through complex clinical topics.
