Dr. Summayah Fallatah

Dr Summayah Fallatah is a consultant in regional anaesthesia and pain management with over two decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience. She is Head of the Pain Service Unit at King Fahd Hospital of the University and serves as President of the Pain Medicine Scientific Committee at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. Dr Fallatah completed fellowships in pain management in both Saudi Arabia and Canada, and holds a Master's in Medical Education from the University of Dundee. She is also Director of the National Pain Fellowship Programme and has played a central role in postgraduate education, curriculum development, and interprofessional training across multiple institutions. Her teaching is informed by extensive research, including published work on pain assessment, interprofessional collaboration, and clinical outcomes in chronic pain. As a faculty member and mentor, she brings a wealth of expertise in both clinical pain management and medical education, ensuring that students benefit from real-world insights and a strong evidence-based foundation.
