Biography

Dr Olutomi Sodipo, MBBS, MPH, FMCPH (Public Health), FWACP (Community Health), PMP®

Dr Olutomi Sodipo is the State Programme Manager for the PF-SMC Malaria Consortium in Abuja, Nigeria, and a PGDip Tutor in Public Health at the University of South Wales. She earned her MBBS at the University of Maiduguri, an MPH with Distinction from the University of Leeds, and holds fellowships from both the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and the West African College of Physicians. Her career includes roles as a Public Health Physician at Jos University Teaching Hospital and as a National Consultant for the World Health Organization in Nigeria, where she contributed to national public health policies, non-communicable disease initiatives, and disease control strategies. A PMP® credential holder, she has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and served as a reviewer for international public health publications. Drawing on her extensive background in health system implementation, outbreak surveillance, and undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, Dr Sodipo supports students across module discussions, academic assessments, and public health coursework.
