Dr Louise Newson is a GP, menopause specialist, and internationally recognised authority in menopause care. She is the Founder and Director of the Newson Health Menopause and Wellbeing Centre and a permanent member of the UK Government’s Menopause Taskforce. Dr Newson holds an Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care and has led the development of educational programmes for clinicians globally, including a menopause training course accessed by over 33,000 healthcare professionals. Her clinical and academic work focuses on improving menopause care and outcomes through evidence-based hormone therapy, digital tools, and patient-centred approaches. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and key texts on menopause and is actively involved in collaborative research with leading UK universities. Through her leadership roles in non-profit, clinical, and academic settings, Dr Newson brings unparalleled expertise and commitment to her role as Honorary Programme Advisor for the PGCert in Menopause Medicine.
