Dr Emmanouil Nikolousis
Dr. Emmanouil (Manos) Nikolousis is a Consultant Hematologist with over 18 years of experience. He holds U.K. board certification in Clinical Hematology and Bone Marrow transplant. Having completed his hematology and bone marrow transplant training in the West Midlands region, he subsequently assumed the role of Clinical Director of Hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation at Heartlands Hospital, a constituent of University Hospitals Birmingham, one of the top 5 Hospitals in the U.K. Under his guidance, Ward 19's Hematology Department received the Team of the Year distinction award in 2019 for its innovative and patient-focused care for Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant patients.
Over the past two years, he has also practised in Greece and Cyprus. Additionally, he served as an Associate Professor of Hematology and the Chair of the Medical School at the European University of Cyprus. For a decade, he was a member of the Acute Leukemia Working Party in the U.K. His primary interests encompass benign and malignant hematology, alongside bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapies.
